Rihanna Waxwork At Madame Tussauds Berlin Branch Mercilessly Mocked For Looking Nothing Like Bajan Superstar

The Berlin branch of Madame Tussauds has come under fire for its wax likeness of Rihanna, which bears no resemblance to the Bajan superstar whatsoever.

The wax figure is decked out in a sexy Christmas outfit with white suspenders just in time for the festive season.

However, it does not in any way look like the celebrity it is meant to represent, 33-year-old Robyn Rihanna Fenty, who was named Barbados’ 11th National Hero only last month (November).

Local reporters have remarked that the waxwork merely shares the same skin tone and tattoos as the singer and actress, and the latter are barely even on view, largely obscured by the figure’s seasonal outfit.

Photos of the waxwork did the rounds on social media and attracted their fair share of ridicule, with Twitter user ‘beccasmas’ commenting: “So cool that madame tussauds included a wax figure for rihanna’s lesser known sister, brianna”.

Tweeter ‘joshlovesit10’ was more explicit, writing: “What the actual fuck this is meant to be Rihanna in Madame Tussaud’s in Germany looks more Lily Allen tbh.”

Netizen ‘ashleypaige88’ wondered aloud if the superstar herself had seen the wax tribute, asking: “Does Rihanna know Madame Tussaud’s did her dirty?”

And Twitter user ‘868nathan’ simply said: “Melt this wax IMMEDIATELY…Rihanna WHERE??”

Local reporters mused aloud if the bungled waxwork was simply an advertising stunt, commenting that the museum opens today at 10am (Tuesday, 21st December).

They also mentioned that the work is reminiscent of the infamous bronze bust of Cristiano Ronaldo that was unveiled at Madeira Airport in 2017.
