Rammed Family Car Flies Through Barrier To Road Below

This is the moment a car carrying a family-of-four is rammed from behind and crashes through the barrier onto a pedestrian road below.

The incident was filmed by a CCTV camera and shows the moment that a vehicle rear ends family’s car on an elevated slip road.

The car is then seen tumbling to the road below where several pedestrians are passing by on the pavement.

The incident took place in the south-eastern Turkish province of Diyarbakir and six people have been reported as injured.

According to local media, motorist Umut Karatas rammed the back of Mehmet Cetin’s car, sending it crashing through the barrier where it fell to the road below.

Cetin was accompanied by his wife Gulay and their three-year-old daughter Bejna Naz and 10-month-old baby girl Reyna, and the family was rushed to hospital.

Meanwhile, Karatas and an unnamed pedestrian were also injured in the accident.

Local residents called the emergency services and the six injured were treated at the scene before being transferred to hospital.

According to local media, all six victims are in a stable condition.
