Pilot Sings Rock A Bye Baby To Passengers To Help Them Relax On Flight

This is the moment a pilot sings ‘Rock-a-Bye Baby’ to plane passengers to help them relax and enjoy the flight.

He had also earlier reportedly given them an aviation class about all the great features on the plane and then gave them a rundown of the latest Formula 1 news.

The unusual scene unfolded before the takeoff of an Aeromexico flight, Mexico’s flagship airline, and the footage was shared by Mexican journalist Manuel Lopez San Martin on Twitter, where it has been viewed 123,000 times at the time of writing.

Lopez shared the video with the message: “This happened to me on a flight yesterday on Aeromexico (turn up the volume!)

“The pilot made our night before takeoff!

“From aviation lessons, he moved on to F1 results, and then sang to us!

“First I was worried, then I laughed… I ended up singing along with him.”

According to the news site Milenio, the pilot first gave passengers a detailed overview of the plane and flight route before reviewing the Formula 1 results.

He then tried to sing the passengers to sleep by giving them a rendition of ‘Rock-a-Bye Baby’ over the intercom.

In the footage, the flight captain, name not reported, is heard saying: “I am gladly going to sing a beautiful lullaby to all of you that goes like this…”

In the Spanish version of the famous lullaby, the pilot sings the lyrics: “Go to sleep, little ones, go to sleep now.”

He then starts crooning saying: “Go to sleep little ones, go to sleep already.”

But he then realises that maybe his singing was not coming out as well as he had hoped and adds: “I am very sorry to everyone as I am a terrible singer, and yes I admit it but with a lot of love for you all.”

it was not revealed what time the flight was or whether it was a night flight which might have explained why he was helping passengers to get some sleep.

Aeromexico which is based in Mexico City offers flights to more than 90 destinations not just in Mexico, but also in the rest of the Americas and the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.

It is the second-biggest airline in Mexico after Volaris with almost a quarter of the market, and it is the top on the international market with over 15 per cent,
