A dentist has been given a suspended sentence after he was convicted of drilling holes in a wall so he could watch his pretty female neighbour having sex and breaking into her home to masturbate while she was out.

The 40-year-old dentist, who had no previous convictions and who was not named because of German privacy laws, used the holes he drilled to film his neighbour’s bedroom action.

Cops said they arrested the man while carrying out an investigation into child porn, and when searching his house discovered the cameras and IT set up that allowed him to film his neighbour as part of his perverted hobby.

The case against him listed 69 separate incidents with videos showing his neighbour walking around her home naked, getting dressed and having sex.

The young woman had no idea what was going on until police revealed what was happening. They also discovered that that he had somehow managed to break into her flat in order to masturbate when she was not at home.

Speaking in court, the dentist, represented by Frank Langen, said in a quiet voice: “I am ashamed of what I did.” He said that he had had a difficult childhood, and had ended up a loner who found it difficult to connect with others.

He added that he was relieved to have been found out and that his perverted hobby had been discovered. He was given a one-year and ten-month suspended sentence after confessing that he had begun therapy to tackle the problem.

The court did not reveal the age or name of the female victim of the man’s spying in the German city of Cologne in North Rhine Westphalia.
