The owner of this “unfaithful” cat with two families was caught when one family suspected the cat of being too free with its affections, and left a note in its collar that was read by the second family.

Mary Lore Barra, the owner of the cat called Pixi, lives in the city of Tampico in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas in the Caribbean coast, and she started to suspect her cat was spending time with another family when it came back home one day with a different collar.

Barra shared the pictures on Facebook and explained that she wrote a note saying that she suspected the cat has two families and put it in the collar.

Her note says: “The little kitty’s name is Pixi and I think it has two homes!”

The cat then returned home with another note in its collar saying: “Here it is called Huarache. Apparently he does have two houses, naughty. Regards. The cat’s other parents!”

Barra posted a picture of the two notes and wrote on Facebook: “After two years living with me I have just discovered that it has another family”

Owner Barra wrote: “My unfaithful kitten, more than unfaithful it is lucky to have two homes, there are kittens that are mistreated, killed and do not even have anything to eat or they die of illness.”
