A drugs dealer’s secret stash of cocaine has been seized after his four-year-old niece held up a package in front of cops and asked: “Are you looking for this Uncle?”

The girl was a passenger in a car with her dad and uncle when they were stopped by police in Campo Grande, Brazil, on 20th June.

Then as officers searched the car the youngster pulled a package of cocaine paste from her clothing as asked the cops if that was what they were after.

The girl’s father and his brother now face drug trafficking charges after police found more cocaine in the car and a bigger stash hidden at her uncle’s home.

The two brothers were arrested while the police were carrying out checks in an area known to be a drug distribution point.

Cops spotted a vehicle leaving a house under observation and duly stopped the driver, finding two men in the front seats and a child in the back.

According to the Civil Police, during the police stop, the young child held up a drugs package that had been concealed in her clothes.

The two brothers in the front seats were stunned when she asked: “Are you looking for this, Uncle?”

The package apparently contained cocaine-based paste wrapped in plastic film.

After apparently being rumbled by the four-year-old girl, the uncle admitted dealing drugs and confessed to hiding the cocaine in his niece’s clothes, according to local media.

He said he asked his brother to help him distribute the drugs because he didn’t have a car that day.

The uncle also reportedly showed officers where he kept more drugs hidden behind his television at home.

According to the police, the suspect’s wife said she was unaware that drugs were being kept in the house.

Officers also seized a precision scale, a roll of plastic film, and BRL 464 (GBP 73) in cash at the couple’s home.

The authorities suspect that the uncle weighed and packaged the drugs in the house before distributing them in the local area. It is unclear where he obtained the narcotics from.

The young girl was handed over to her mother and both brothers were placed under arrest.

They face charges for drug trafficking and qualified drug trafficking involving children or adolescents.

The investigation is ongoing.
