A Dubai doctor has posted this cute photo of a newborn baby grabbing his face mask to say that even babies do not approve of facemasks.

The baby had only just been born, and as the doctor lifted the child for a photo to be taken it reached out and pulled off the facemask, which was caught by the camera exactly as it happened.

Obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr. Samer Shuaib shared the snap of Instagram and revealed that the baby was a twin born several minutes after his sister.

In the photo, the bearded doctor from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is seen smiling for the camera as the wrinkled, grimacing baby he snapped at the moment it reaches out his hand and yanks the medic’s mask from his face.

Dr. Shuaib accompanied the photo with the message: “We all want a sign that we are going to be able to take the masks of soon.”

The doctor seemed to suggest that masks are not entirely effective during the COVID-19 campaign, although official advice is that they should be worn to prevent the spread.

Dr. Shuaib told Newsflash: “The baby was born in a Dubai clinic as a twin. The baby girl was born first and then the boy who pulled at my mask.

The doctor is an obstetrician and gynaecologist who has been a medic since 2008.
