This is the moment two laughing influencers apparently squirt pepper spray into an elderly woman’s face in the park during a live-stream.

The video, showing two men using pepper spray on a passerby, was filmed at Izmailovsky Park in the Russian capital Moscow on 26th August.

In the footage, one suspect is seen leaning forwards to spray a liquid substance in the elderly woman’s face before they both erupt in laughter.

According to the new site NTV, the young men first stopped the woman to ask for a phone charger, but soon began to taunt her until one of them allegedly squirted pepper spray in her face as they filmed and laughed.

The regional public prosecutor’s office has confirmed that both suspects, names not reported, have been arrested and an investigation is ongoing.

After the police became aware of the live-streamed incident, they raided the influencers’ apartment while they were filming another live video, according to the news site Gazeta.

The suspects were taken to a nearby police station for questioning.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow confirmed the two men were being held for questioning.

The investigation is ongoing.
