Moment Hot Air Balloon Lands On Roof Of House, Surprising Owners

This is the moment an American hot air balloon lands on the roof of a Mexican house, surprising its owners.

The incident took place in the city of Leon, which is located in the central Mexican state of Guanajuato, on Monday 15th November, as the International Balloon Festival in Leon was drawing to a close.

The balloon festival, which ran from last Friday to Monday, saw numerous participants take to the skies with their hot air balloons.

But these participants, reportedly from the United States, ended up landing on the rooftop terrace of a two-storey house, surprising its owners.

The footage shows the balloon hovering ever so slightly above the roof of the house while people laugh and shout in the background.

The American man in the balloon, who has not been named, even asks the people on the roof of the house to help him land it at one point, and they can be seen tugging on the basket of the balloon in a bid to ensure that it lands safely on the rooftop terrace.

The hot air balloon gently comes down to land on the roof of the house as the footage ends. It is unclear why the balloon landed on the house and if this was the result of a malfunction.
