This is the moment a drunk woman wrecks the check-in area of a Moscow airport and lashes out at arresting cops.

The incident was filmed at the Sheremetyevo Alexander S. Pushkin International Airport in the Russian capital Moscow on 22nd July with the footage being reported by local media on 3rd August.

According to the news site Life, the 23-year-old woman, name not reported, was drunk and causing a scene at the airport while hoping to fly to a friend’s wedding.

She reportedly insulted staff and other people and even became embroiled in an altercation with one passenger.

The young women then started knocking over queue barriers in the departure hall and workers called for security.

The local authorities wrote: “The duty station received a report that a passenger was violating public order in the departure hall. The traffic police arrived at the scene and found that a citizen born in 1998 was behaving inappropriately and defiantly.”

While resisting arrest and lashing out at arresting officers, the young woman knocked off a cop’s badge, according to Life.

It is unclear what caused the woman to lash out, however, reports said she was trying to fly to a friend’s wedding and was experiencing difficulties during check-in.

She was arrested for being drunk and disorderly. There have been no updates on whether she has been formally charged yet.
