Mechanic Takes Cheeky Spin In Customers Porsche And Is Kidnapped By Armed Robbers Who Think He Is Wealthy

This is the moment a mechanic who had decided to sneakily take his customer’s Porsche out for a spin is confronted by armed men who bungle him into the back of the vehicle and drive off.

CCTV footage shows how two men wielding handguns approach the SUV, believed to be a Porsche Macan GTS, prompting mechanic Francisco Rogerio Leandro Ramos and his girlfriend to get out of the car.

The men then bungle the mechanic into the back seat while leaving his girlfriend standing on the pavement before they get into the vehicle with another accomplice and drive off.

According to SBT News, an unnamed businessman from the city of Nova Iguacu in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro had left his Porsche worth over BRL 500,000 (GBP 65,277) at the garage to get its faulty stereo fixed.

While the car was in his workplace, Francisco cheekily decided to take the high-end vehicle out for a spin with his girlfriend in the neighbourhood of California where the robbery and kidnapping took place on Sunday, 24th October.

The mechanic was driven to a cashpoint, where he was forced to take money out. However, when it turned out he had no money in his account, his captors realised he had been telling the truth when he said the car did not belong to him.
