A naked reveller survived a fall from a ninth-floor window with the woman he had been having sex with after she cushioned his fall as he fell on top of her.

Reports said that the female victim cushioned the man’s fall when they landed together on wet ground outside the property, and eyewitnesses told cops they had seen him staggering back upstairs naked to rejoin his pals alone.

The police initially thought they were dealing with a murder and sex attack when they found the woman wearing no clothing on the lower half of her body at the base of the tower block in Russia’s north-western second city of St Petersburg.

They also found a TV that appeared to have been thrown from one of the windows above and briefly considered the TV set might have killed the young woman, although that did not explain why she was missing her clothing from the waist down.

But they were then told the incredible story from eyewitnesses who had reportedly spotted the woman and a man having sex in a ninth-floor flat above before falling.

The woman had been at a small party in the flat together with the man she had had sex with and two others, and they attracted attention when one of the other men threw a TV out the window.

According to eyewitnesses, the couple then fell over the balcony during sex and the man landed on top of the unfortunate woman before scrambling to his feet and staggering back to the party.

Police said that, despite landing on a grassed area, the woman was killed instantly.

The man, who only sustained minor injuries, has been tracked down and is currently under investigation, according to reports.
