A man who stole a Portaloo so he could have sex with his girlfriend inside has been seized by police in Brazil.

Baffled officers in Praia Grande arrested two men after they walked off with the portable lavatory.

But while they were being questioned, one of the men reportedly admitted he needed it as a private love nest for himself and his partner.

He is alleged to have told the officers he stole it so he could “get comfortable with my girlfriend”.

The municipal authorities revealed on Monday, 6th June that the theft had taken place in the Xixova neighbourhood in the early hours of the previous Thursday.

The two men reportedly dragged the Portaloo away on a cart.

They were caught carrying out the theft on CCTV and they were identified and later arrested after police studied the images.

The men were booked for aggravated theft and will be investigated. The police did not reveal their identities.
