Killers Face Life For Buying Teen Mum Sex Slave And Throwing Her Naked Body Tied To A Slab In A River

Two men and a woman face life sentences for ‘buying’ this teenage girl as a sex slave from a red-light district before torturing her and throwing her naked in a river while tied to a concrete slab.

The defendants who kept her tied up in a garage before her death have gone on trial at the District Court of Verden in the state of Lower Saxony in north-western Germany, and the public prosecutor has demanded life sentences for all three for the murder of the young woman who can be seen in this photograph on holiday in Majorca.

The victim, named as Andrea Korzen by police, was only 19-years-old when she died in the incident which took place in Nienburg in the northern German state of Lower Saxony.

The young mother of two was reportedly bought by defendants Stefan K., 41, and Stephan K., 54, whose full surnames have also been withheld due to local privacy laws, for EUR 2,000 (GBP 1,686) in a red-light district with the aim of forcing her to prostitute herself on the streets.

However, when this plan failed, they allegedly decided to murder the young woman, who had reportedly grown up in a home after her mother was jailed and her father died of leukaemia. After leaving the home she became pregnant twice.

She was allegedly tied naked to a concrete slab which was then thrown into the River Weser, which runs through Lower Saxony to the North Sea, in April 2020 before her corpse was discovered by a barge worker near a canal in the Nienburg district.

It is currently unclear if she was still alive when she was thrown into the river, with the German daily Bild reporting that the prosecution currently has a problematic situation ahead of them.

They said that she had previously been held in a garage where she was probably tortured and strangled, but the German daily reported that her exact cause of death cannot currently be ascertained, leading to the public prosecutor to request charges of attempted murder by omission.

The third defendant has been named as Sabrina H., 40, and the public prosecutor has also requested the maximum sentence against her for her alleged role as an accomplice in the sordid affair.

The lawyers for the defendants, meanwhile, have argued that the charge of attempted murder remains unproven and they have demanded lighter sentences as a result.

The verdict is expected on Thursday (21st October).
