The footage shows Russian troops firing at the Ukrainian armoured personnel carrier while it evacuates the wounded comrades from the frontlines.

The images were obtained from the 63rd Separate Mechanised Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Thursday, 22nd February, along with a statement saying: “Extreme evacuation from the battlefield.

“A mechanic-driver of an M113 armoured personnel carrier of the 63rd Brigade manoeuvres and picks up wounded comrades, covering them from the enemy, who is trying to take out our guys by all possible means.”

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that between 24th February 2022 and 23rd February 2024. Russia had lost approximately 408,240 personnel, 6,526 tanks, 12,410 armoured combat vehicles, 9,916 artillery units, 999 multiple launch rocket systems. 682 air defence systems, 339 warplanes, 325 helicopters, 7,628 drones, 1,903 cruise missiles, 25 warships, 1 submarine, 12,960 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, and 1,575 units of special equipment.
