This is the moment a turnstile in a metro station creepily turns on it own with local media and netizens speculating it was a “ghost”.

The clip was recorded at the Buenavista metro station on line 3 of the underground system of Mexico City, the capital of Mexico.

In the video, the station appears to be empty when a turnstile slowly begins moving. The metal bars then suddenly twist forward and the lights flash green as if a passenger were passing through.

The video has been widely shared with netizens and local media claiming it was a ‘ghost ‘which made the device move to enter the station.

Twitter user ‘Raul Gutierrez’ wrote: “At least the ghost did not jump the turnstile of ‘MetrobusCDMX’ and he took his card. Be polite and pay your ticket.”

Netizen ‘Maria Fatal’ shared a news story about a 28-year-old man who was found hanging in a nearby football stadium called Los Galeana on 1st of September. She wrote: “Apparently that station is next to the Los Galeana stadium. I do not want to scare you but something happened near that place.”

Other netizens have shown scepticism about the video.

Twitter user ‘Alyda Tato’ said: “These people who say they see a ghost always happen to be recording at the moment of the paranormal activity.”

While ‘Genny Mtz’ added: “I thought the same, it is very strange to record the exact moment.”
