Gran Told By Hospital Her Elderly Husband Will Need A Lot Of Care Keeps Fit In Corridor To Prepare

This is the moment an elderly woman does push-ups in a hospital corridor after being told that she will need to be fit to look after her husband as he recovers from illness.

The woman, who is reportedly 78 years old, had clearly decided to take the advice seriously and was spotted in the hospital corridor making sure that she still had the right stuff by effortlessly doing push-ups, to the amazement of nurses, doctors and other visitors.

The footage was shot by a woman identified only by the surname Wang who was so impressed by the white-haired grandmother, at the hospital in the prefecture level city of Xiangtan, in east-central China’s Hunan province, that she stopped to film it.

She said that the woman’s husband was in his 80s, and she was told he was going to need a lot of looking after although it was not specified why he was hospitalised in the first place.

While she was waiting for her husband to undergo a medical procedure, the energetic older woman put the time to good use by exercising, apparently to prepare herself for the hard work ahead.

The woman had come to the hospital to also look after her husband, to read to him and watch some videos with him, but while he was getting some treatment she did a workout.
