This is the spooky moment showing a goat strolling up to a terrifying ghostly figure on a street in Brazil.

The spine-tingling footage has racked up hundreds of thousands of views since it was posted to social media on 9th December.

It shows how a lone goat walks down an empty, dimly-lit street near Sossego Beach in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro state.

But suddenly, around five seconds in, a scary spectre emerges out of nowhere on the roadside wearing what seems to be dark, floor-length robes.

Creepily, the man who filmed the clip had not even seen the spook until the footage was played back.

He wrote online: “Today [Friday] I went to Sossego Beach in Niteroi with my friends, and while we were waiting for the Uber so we could leave, a goat passed in front of me.

“I decided to take a picture, and I recorded this video, but when I posted it, a friend asked me about the person in the video.

“But the weird thing is, until I had posted the video and this person had told me about it, I hadn’t even seen it there.

“I have no idea what it is, none of my friends saw it there, and I’m simply traumatised by this sh*t.”

One social media user commented: “The interesting thing is that the goat looks towards the figure. This means it saw the same thing as you and your friend.”

Another remarked on the ghostly apparition’s fiendish appearance, writing: “It’s either the guitarist from Slipknot or the demon from the film The Entity.”

And one unsettled netizen simply commented: “I can’t sleep.”
