This is the bizarre moment when a sheep farmer falls victim to a sneaky bit ram raiding from a feisty ewe in northern China.

The hilarious incident took place in the city of Shenyang, Liaoning Province, as the farmer was cleaning the animals’ enclosure.

CCTV footage shows the unnamed man peacefully cleaning the sheep pen with a shovel.

Little did he know that his every move was being watched by the ewes behind him.

As he walked a little further, one sheep suddenly ran forwards and rammed the unsuspecting farm hand at lightning speed, knocking him on the backside.

Then the man quickly stood up and left the sheep pen while scolding the sheep with his finger.

Fed up, he walked away seemingly unharmed, leaving his shovel behind.

The video was later shared on Douyin – the Chinese version of TikTok – where it had netizens in tears over the sheep’s sneak attack, jokingly saying the man would be having lamb chops later that evening.

One user, ‘mou ting’, commented: “Sheep: Can’t you have fun? why go?”

And ‘storm’ said: “My best friend said that everything it did was to attract the attention of the ewe next to her, forgive it.”
