Drink Driver Chased By Cops Runs Into Restaurant And Pretends To Be Cook After Ditching Car During Traffic Stop

This is the moment a drink-driver chased by police officers runs into a restaurant and pretends to be a cook after ditching his car during a traffic stop.

The incident took place in the city of Changzhi, which is located in Shanxi province in northern China when the man, who has not been named, spotted a police traffic stop up ahead and decided to ditch his car and sneak into the restaurant to pretend to be its chef.

The footage shows a man, wearing a black leather jacket, running into the restaurant and straight past the receptionist, with the cop hot on his tail, before making his way to the kitchen where he ditched his jacket and reportedly pretended to be a chef working at the venue in a desperate bid to escape arrest.

But the police officer was having none of it and he promptly calls the man out.

In the end, the man was apprehended by the police officer and after testing, it was revealed that he was reportedly over the limit.

Netizens were amused by the drink-driver’s cunning ploy to escape arrest, with one joking: “Boss, when am I going to get an extra chef?”
