Russian singer Shura who lost a testicle to cancer and now wants a surrogate mother to help him start a family has shocked his army of online followers with a bizarre picture of himself wearing a white wedding dress with saucy stockings.
Despite recently gaining weight, the 44-year-old singer, real name Alexander Vladimirovich Medvedev, was happy to share the comical picture on Instagram for his 141,000 followers.
He is known for living life to the fullest since he survived after being diagnosed with testicular cancer where he underwent an operation to remove one of his testicles and then underwent 18 rounds of chemotherapy.
Local media said the rehabilitation period lasted four years and he was bound to a wheelchair and had a tremor in his right hand that lasted 18 months before recovering. Reports said that he spent about 1 million USD (770,000 GBP) on treatment in Russia and Switzerland.
The chubby singer in this latest snap is depicted in a wedding dress as five groomsmen stand to the side with shocked expressions.
Shura said: “I like people with a good sense of humour. I like to have a laugh at myself. It used to be scary looking at myself.”
He then said that he has lost seven kilogrammes (1.1 stone) since the photo was taken.
The comical image divided netizens, with some followers appreciating Shura’s sense of humour while others found it crude.

He earlier said he wants to become a single dad and is currently looking for an ideal surrogate mother despite having one of his testicles removed.
He said: “I would make a wonderful dad. Do you know how good I am at taking care of children in my surroundings? Friends ask me to look after their three-year-olds all the time.”
The singer considered looking for a surrogate in the US but decided against it because it is cheaper in his native Russia.
