This is the moment several thugs in black climb on top of a city bus and set off fireworks before one of them apparently injures his leg while jumping down.

The incident was filmed in the Kazakh city of Almaty, and the footage was widely shared on social media this week, prompting a police investigation for ‘hooliganism’.

In the footage, the bus is seen waiting at a bus stop before two men in black climb on the roof.

They set off a series of noisy fireworks on the roof of the bus before jumping off it.

However, one of them apparently lands badly and ends up in a heap on the ground. His pal and a third group member run over to help the injured thug to his feet while fireworks still launch into the sky from the bus.

The two men run into a nearby park area and the injured suspect limps behind them.

The local police have confirmed that they are investigating the incident, adding: “The relevant divisions of the Almaty Police Department are already focused on identifying the hooligans, arresting them, and bringing them to justice.”

Meanwhile, netizens had a lot to say about the widely shared clip, with comments such as “one of the clowns broke his leg!”, “instant karma”, and “why is it so funny that one of them landed badly?”
