Angry Woman Films Young Mum Forcing Son, 5, Into Car Boot

This is the moment an angry woman films a young mum apparently forcing her five-year-old boy into the boot of her car, leading to her prompt arrest.

The incident was filmed by an onlooker in the municipality of Pueblo in the US state of Colorado on the afternoon of 4th August.

In the video, the mother apparently forces a screaming boy into the boot of her car as an angry woman looks on.

The camerawoman shouts “dude, you can’t f*cking put that kid in the f*cking trunk” before insisting that she frees the youngster.

After the footage appeared online, the police began a search for the woman, locating and arresting her shortly afterwards.

At around 5.30pm on 5th August, the Pueblo Police Department confirmed on Twitter: “33-year-old Chelsea Trujillo and her son were located by Pueblo Police. Trujillo was arrested on child abuse and restraining order violation. Thank you to everyone who assisted on this case.”

Police spokesperson Sergeant Franklyn Ortega said: “I think anybody who looks at that video would be concerned about the welfare of that little boy.

“We saw what we saw in the video, but we need to look at the whole thing, that’s why detectives are involved.”

Chelsea Trujillo, 33, has been arrested for violating a restraining order and child abuse, according to the police.

The local authorities added that the boy is unharmed and currently being cared for by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The investigation is ongoing.
