This is the moment a naked drunk scales a security fence and sprints across the runway at an international airport in Kazakhstan.

The bizarre incident was filmed at Almaty International Airport, the busiest airport in Kazakhstan, in the early hours of this morning (6th April).

After being arrested, the male suspect was found to be drunk and now faces three charges for his late-night spree.

In the footage, the naked man is seen scaling a high metal fence before invading the runway and walking calmly on the tarmac before breaking into a run.

The 25-year-old man was quickly detained by transport cops on the scene, according to the local authorities in a statement today.

The statement said: “The transport police at the airport in Almaty detained a man born in 1997 for an administrative offence.

“During checks, it was found that the citizen on April 6 at 00:10 stripped naked, climbed over a fence near the local arrivals terminal of Almaty Airport, and ran towards the runway where he was detained by security officers.”

According to the local authorities, the suspect continued to behave inappropriately and was found to be over the alcohol limit.

As a result of his boozy midnight sprint across the runway, the young man faces charges for appearing in a public place in a state of intoxication, petty hooliganism, and illegally entering the international airport.

He is expected to appear in court soon.
