This is the 17-year-old girl who reportedly burned herself to death after a heated row with her cop dad because she had sex in the family home.

According to local media, the teenager sprayed petrol over her body and set herself alight in a field near her home in Santa Brigida in the city of San Miguel in the eastern Argentine province of Buenos Aires.

The body was found completely burned and was later identified as 17-year-old Debora Guzman who had been reported as missing the previous day.

Her 37-year-old father, identified as police officer Gustavo Javier Guzman, reported that his daughter had run away with a canister of petrol following a heated row.

He said that the argument was because the teenager had sex with her boyfriend in the family home.

Reportedly affected by the row, Debora is believed to have taken the petrol and doused herself with it in a field before setting herself alight.

Local media said she went to visit some classmates beforehand as a way of saying goodbye.

The friends told local media that they “could smell the petrol on her when she came to see us”.

Meanwhile, the police consider the case as suicide, but are continuing their investigations to confirm all the events leading up to Deborah’s untimely death.
