Zoom Hacker Bombards 10yo Kids School Class With Porn

An investigation has been launched after a Russian school class on religion being taught on Zoom was hacked and a pornographic video was shown to the 10-year-old pupils.

The incident occurred during a Zoom class on Orthodox culture taught by local school number 36 in the city of Kaluga in the western Russian oblast of the same which over 90 pupils aged between 10 and 11 years old were attending.

The lesson was reportedly interrupted by a pornographic video which popped up onto the pupils’ screens. An official statement from the school said the incident occurred after one of the students’ Zoom accounts was hacked.

The local department of the Ministry of Digital Technologies launched an investigation into the case to find out the circumstances of the crime and find those responsible.

The investigation is ongoing and a similar case has been reported in the Russian capital Moscow where children were reportedly shown a pornographic film when a hacker logged into their online chemistry class.

The incident occurred when students at school number 274 in the Russian capital were attending the class during the country’s coronavirus lockdown.

According to reports, a pornographic film popped up on the 15-year-old students’ screens during the class and one father has now filed a complaint with the local department of the Investigative Committee.

The preliminary version of the incident, announced by the local police department, was that a hacker had attacked one of the students’ accounts.

Russian schools, colleges and universities were closed for the coronavirus quarantine. Classes are currently being held online through video chats or streams.

All the semestrial and entrance exams have been postponed for an unspecified period of time.
