This beautiful Turkish woman has alleged that she was stripped naked and tortured by two other women including the jealous fiancee of her former boss who stubbed cigarettes out on her body and cut her after alleging that she had seduced him.
The victim identified only as Demet A., 21, who lives in the central Turkish province of Konya, worked at a cafe owned by suspect Murat Demirci, 41, for about a month.
She quit the job when Murat allegedly made advances to her despite being engaged to Sara Demir, 24, another suspect in the investigation who was the main person involved in the torture together with another female friend.
The attack happened six weeks after Demet quit, when Murat called her on 8th April and said they needed to meet to discuss an important matter.
According to local media, Murat, who came to the meeting with his fiancee Sara Demir and female friend Tugba Demirci, 22, then forced Demet into his car and took her to a flat in the district of Selcuklu where they kept her locked up for hours and abused her.
Sara had apparently been told that Demet had seduced her fiancee and was determined to get revenge.
She is accused of beating the victim, cutting her hair, sexually harassing her, putting cigarettes out on her body, and slashing her body. The two others reportedly helped her, according to the allegations.
Demet, who managed to escape from the house after three hours of horror, first went to a local hospital for treatment and then to the police station to file a report.
Demet told local media: “They made me suffer things I will never forget. They stripped me naked and filmed everything. They said they would call men to the house to let them rape me. They sexually abused me. I can’t forget the horror I experienced.”
Following Demet’s complaint, the police detained the three suspects and took down their statements before releasing them with judicial controls.
However, the trio was arrested and kept in custody after another victim, named as Merve K., 27, claimed she had been tortured by the suspects in a similar way.
Demet said: “I wasn’t safe when they were on the streets. I was afraid to go out. Even the thought of them getting released again one day frightens me.”
Prosecutors are calling for prison terms of up to 36 years for each defendant for the crimes of armed threats, looting, harassment, use of force, damage to property, and deprivation of liberty.
