This is the shocking moment a little girl is taken to school by two heavyset adults on a motorbike while balancing herself on the exhaust pipe.
The footage was filmed by a motorist in the city of Cuautitlan Izcalli in the north of the Mexican capital Mexico City, and shared on social media where it has been viewed over 43,000 times.
In the clip, the little girl is seen wearing a school uniform and pink backpack as the two unnamed adults, believed to be her parents, ride through the city streets.
Only one adult is wearing a helmet and the woman on the back of the bike is seen supporting the girl with an arm around her waist.
Meanwhile, the young girl holds on tight as she balances herself on the exhaust pipe.
The man filming the video says: “Ladies and gentlemen, please do not do this!”
It is not known whether an investigation has been opened.
Netizen ‘Abelardo Medrano’ commented: “This is very irresponsible of the parents for endangering the young girl’s life. She could fall and be crushed by another vehicle at any moment.”
‘Irma Barrera Hernandez’ agreed: “How irresponsible and ignorant! If an accident takes place, they would cry and look for someone else to blame.”
‘Mercy’ said: “Where I live, there are many people doing similar things with their kids.”
