This is the barking moment a man carries a 660 lbs tree trunk down a mountain in central China to earn money and support his family.

The man’s incredible feat was filmed by a friend, named Mr Xiao, who told local media that the strongman comes from Enshi city in Hubei province.

Mr Xiao explained that because there are no roads for trucks, his friend was forced to carry the 300 kilogrammes trunk on his back down the slope to his car.

The video footage shows two friends helping the unnamed strongman to balance the huge lump of wood over his shoulder.

Then he strides out with just a stick to support him as he makes his way downhill.

Mr Xiao said that the man has two children at home and an elderly mother who has been in hospital for an operation.

He added that he had seen many people carrying wood, but it was the first time he had seen such a strong man, and he felt that it was not easy.

Mr Xiao later shared the video of his amazingly strong friend on Douyin – the Chinese version of TikTok.

User ‘big wolf’ commented: “My father used to carry on like this to support the whole family. Now society is better and life is better, but he is left with tuberculosis. Thinking about it makes me sad!”
