This is the moment a bungling woman driver’s hatchback is rear-ended by a lorry and sent crashing into water barrel cushions after she reverses dozens of feet across two lanes on a motorway.
CCTV footage from the Daqing-Guangzhou Expressway shows the little red car slowly backing up after the driver, surnamed Zhong, had apparently missed a slip road.
The vehicle reverses across both lanes and prepares to enter the V-shaped chevron marking when the accident happens over the city of Huangshi in Central China’s Hubei Province.

A cement mixer lorry speeds into view and veers wildly to the left in order to avoid a direct rear-end collision.
However, the lorry’s trailer whips out from the back and slams into Zhong’s hatchback, which is sent flying into the yellow water barrel crash barriers.
Zhong, whose mum and dad were in the car at the time, was lucky to escape with her family unharmed.
The lorry driver was not injured either.
Local authorities found Zhong fully liable for the accident and have suspended her licence by giving her 12 demerit points.
She was also fined 200 RMB (22 GBP) for the stunt.
