This is the moment a thug creeps up behind a woman waiting for a taxi and stabs her in the bum before sprinting away and the victim collapses on the road.

The shocking incident occurred in Changsha City in central China’s Hunan Province and caught by a CCTV camera outside the Yaoling North Bus Station.

In the video, a woman, who has not been identified in reports can be seen standing on the pavement waiting for a taxi and a man creeps up behind her. The man was reportedly holding a knife and he can be seen pushing into her buttocks before sprinting away.

The woman calmly turns around before she steps into the road where she eventually collapses. A taxi drives past as she is sitting on the ground and she tries to flag it down.

The cabbie slows down but does not stop and the woman then lies on the tarmac but no divers stop to help her.

Local media report she called the emergency services before she lost consciousness and Furong Police Station released an announcement saying the woman is safe in hospital and they have set up a team to investigate this case.

Reports state that the victim is a live streamer and she suffered a stab wound to her right buttock, injuring her ovary and small intestine.

She has been operated on and is reportedly stable. She wrote on social media: “I thought the man just kicked my buttock until I see the blood on my hand. My brain was totally empty at that moment. Nobody knows the despair I was in on such a dark night. I took my last breathe to make the call to the police and hospital, thinking I was dying soon… There is one thing I want to do the most, find the guy and put him in jail.”

No arrests have been reported.
