This is the shocking moment a young woman whose clothes have been burnt off runs across a street after being turned into a human fireball.
The horrific scene was filmed on Senador Lemos Avenue in the neighbourhood of Telegrafo in the city of Belem in the northern Brazilian state of Para on the night of 18th January.
CCTV footage shows the almost-naked woman running across the street while covered in flames.
She runs towards a bus stop, but changes direction and grabs something burning from her shoulder area, which she throws on the ground.
The woman is last seen running along the pavement still completely ablaze as the video ends.
According to the news site G1, the woman, identity not disclosed, was attended to by police officers and firefighters on the scene before being taken to hospital.
The victim was transferred to the Metropolitan Hospital in the neighbouring city of Ananindeua, where she is being treated, and there have been no updates on her current condition.
According to the police, two men are suspected of carrying out the attack, and investigators are trying to track them down, with no arrests reported yet.
The police are reviewing the CCTV footage in the area and have appealed to the public to come forwards with any information that may lead to the arrest of one or both suspects.
