Woman Tries To Kidnap Young Girl Off The Street in Broad Daylight

This is the moment a woman apparently tries to kidnap a young girl off the street in broad daylight.

The incident took place in the city of Nanning, which is located in the region of Guangxi, in southern China, on the border with Vietnam on Saturday 23rd October.

The footage shows the young girl standing alone in the street while two young boys play nearby.

The woman then approaches her and appears to try to steer her away.

But she is stopped by another woman, whose identity is currently unclear.

A second video shows the alleged kidnapper being detained by members of the public while they wait for the police to arrive.

The authorities said that the woman could only speak a local dialect and it was impossible to communicate with her, so the police took her to the nearby Wuyi police station for questioning.

The police identified the woman only as Ni, 50, from Longlin, Guangxi and checked local CCTV footage to confirm the incident.

They also said they are investigating the woman’s family’s claims that she is suffering from dementia.
