A woman apparently fed up with the excuses of her anti-vaxxer husband is seen here after she used a rope to tie him up and drag him to the healthcare unit to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
The footage was filmed at a primary healthcare unit in an unspecified municipality in the northeastern Brazilian state of Alagoas on Sunday, 30th January.
The video, which was filmed by a person waiting in line to get the shot, shows the man sitting on a chair in what appears to be the waiting room.

He has a rope tied around his arms and body, with the woman, reportedly his wife, standing in front of him and holding it in one hand.
Local media reported that the man was a so-called ‘anti-vaxxer’ and the only way he could be made to get the jab was by his wife literally pulling him to hospital.
The Instagram page ‘Gossip do Dia’ (‘Today’s Gossip’), which has 6.5 million followers, posted the clip with the caption: “People! In the state of Alagoas, a woman took her anti-vax husband to get vaccinated.

“A person who was at the place recorded the moment and you can clearly see him sitting down and tied up while his wife waits standing up, holding the rope.”
Blue-tick hairstylist Eder Fernando Pedrosa commented: “Women. Always very intelligent, aren’t they?”
And Instagram user Amanda Colares wrote: “Showing that she’s the boss.”

According to the latest statistics, 70.5 percent of the Brazilian population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with 361 million total doses given.
