This is the bizarre moment an enraged young woman begins smacking her head into a shop window before the glass breaks and she topples inside.

The bizarre scenes were recorded by CCTV cameras at the shop located in a shopping centre in the Bulgarian capital Sofia after 11 pm.

In the video, a young couple, who have not been identified, can be seen standing in front of the shop when the girl throws her body and head into the shop window.

The young woman, holding a cigarette, carries on speaking to the young man as she crashes into the window for a second time, quickly followed by a third.

On her third collision, the glass breaks and she is sent tumbling to the floor inside the shop.

The young man calmly walks away as the woman scrambles to her feet and runs out of the huge hole in the shop window.

The unidentified shop owner said the woman appeared to be enraged as he could hear her screaming.

He said more than 800 BGN (356 GBP) of damage had been caused and hopes the young woman can be identified.

The police said they could not identify her from their records and have asked for the public to help.
