Woman Pilot Crash-Lands Faulty Plane In Cornfield

These images show a plane upside down after its 23-year-old woman pilot was forced to land it in the middle of a cornfield.

According to reports, the plane crashed minutes after taking off from an airstrip in the city of Mar del Plata in the eastern Argentine province of Buenos Aires.

Local media said that the female pilot, identified as Renata Cibula, noticed that the engine was losing power and she was forced to make an emergency landing in the cornfield located in the area of Palermo.

During the crash-landing, the small aircraft flipped over and was left upside down in the field

The local authorities said the pilot was in shock, but was otherwise uninjured in the emergency landing.

Reports said the aircraft is used for towing aerial advertising across the skies above the resort of Mar del Plata.

It is believed the aircraft suffered engine failure shortly after take-off and the Civil Aviation Accidents authority is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the emergency landing, according to local media.
