A Spanish woman has been arrested for killing and dismembering a man she met online after confessing all to her psychiatrist.
Cristina Rodriguez Veloso, 26, is accused of killing 53-year-old Jose Maria Roldan after he travelled to the province of Ourense in the Spanish region of Galicia from his home in Catalonia to meet her.
The victim left his home on the other side of the country on 20th August.

When Roldan failed to return home from his trip to Galicia, concerned relatives reported his disappearance and an investigation was opened on 27th August.
The suspect allegedly confessed to her psychiatrist that she had killed Roldan and burned his remains.
After her arrest, Rodriguez reportedly told the cops that she had carried out the murder and showed them where she had disposed of his remains – on a farm in the village of O Rabino, where she lives.

According to reports, the suspect confessed to first giving the victim pills to make him fall asleep before then suffocating him.
She allegedly dismembered and burned the body and disposed of the remains around her home.
Investigators have since recovered part of a foot, part of an arm, and other unspecified remains.

The motive for why Rodriguez reportedly killed her online acquaintance is currently unknown.
The young woman, who resided alone, has a five-year-old daughter, who lives with her father in the city of Vigo, also in Galicia, about an hour’s drive away.
The investigation is ongoing.
