This video shows a smartly dressed woman driving a saloon with no driver’s side door on the motorway after she reportedly broke it off while reversing out of her home.

The bizarre video taken in the city of Changsha, capital of Hunan Province in Central China, shows the woman dressed in a navy blue suit and black high heels rolling past on the 2nd Ring Road on 22nd August.

The motorist, Ms Yang, casually droves along the multi-lane motorway in her Buick LaCrosse and does not appear at all fazed by the attention she is getting from other cars.

According to Changsha police, traffic officers investigating reports of a saloon car without a door later found the Buick parked outside a local car repair workshop.

Owner Ms Yang was present and explained that she accidentally broke off her own car door while reversing out of her garage at home.

She decided to save herself the cost of calling a tow car and drove the fancy Buick to the garage by herself.

Ms Yang was fined 200 RMB (22 GBP) for dangerous driving.

Neither Ms Yang nor the police elaborated on how exactly she broke her door.

It is also unclear whether she had brought the door with her to the auto repair shop.
