A Colombian woman was arrested in Germany after she allegedly tried to use a fake passport featuring a photo of Kim Kardashian.

The woman allegedly tried to use the ID in the train station in the German city of Cologne in order to buy a prepaid travel card for which she needed to provide identification.

However, she attracted the attention of the travel agency Kirk with the fake ID, who raised the alarm with cops and the woman was arrested.

Police confirmed that the woman was questioned over suspicion of falsifying documents, and then questioned further when they discovered she allegedly had two apparently stolen credit cards on her.

The real name of the 29-year-old alleged fake Kim Kardashian was not revealed, but police did say that she did not look anything like her fake ID photograph.

They said that she was eventually released after her real identity had been established and a report is being prepared for prosecutors.

It is believed that the woman did not realise that the photograph in her allegedly fake passport involves the internationally famous 39-year-old reality star.
