This is the moment a woman climbs atop a table inside a Christian Dior makeup shop and kicks over a shelf full of lipstick in a bizarre rampage leaving staff stunned.

The woman, who police have not named, allegedly began vandalising the Dior retailer on the evening of 14th October.

Security guards inside the New Century shopping complex in Handan’s Congtai District, which is in North China’s Hebei Province, were called to escort the woman away.

However, video taken by witnesses shows the woman refusing to go quietly.

As uniformed guards approach her, she climbs onto one of the tables and screams at the security personnel, telling them to throw away their phones so they cannot call the police.

She begins kicking a shelf full of Dior products, sending sticks of makeup and eyeliner crashing to the floor and scattering the expensive cosmetics all over the tiles.

As dozens gather around to watch and film, the woman is seen sitting back down again on the table but still refusing to move as guards surround her.

District police said she was later detained and faces public order charges, but Dior staff claimed the woman’s outburst had nothing to do with them.

An employee told local media the woman’s tirade “had nothing to do with our products or services”.

Investigations are ongoing.
