This is the moment a woman drink-driver speeds along the motorway apparently unaware that the back of her car is ablaze before being stopped and dragged out of the vehicle by motorists.

The incident was filmed on the Moscow Ring Road in the western Russian capital Moscow and the footage was shared on social media where it has been viewed 210,000 times.

Reports said that the 33-year-old woman failed to react to the warnings of other motorists and continued driving along the motorway at high speeds while failing to notice that the back of her car was on fire.

In the footage, the woman’s car is seen pulled over to the side of the road while the back of her car is ablaze.

At one point, a driver leaves his vehicles to drag the woman out of her burning car.

Reports said that other motorists managed to extinguish the blaze before the firefighters arrived on the scene.

According to local media, the woman driver smelled of alcohol and did not have the necessary documentation for the car she was driving.

The incident led to a massive traffic jam on the Moscow Ring Road.

The local police have confirmed they are investigating the matter.

One netizen said: “Those drivers did a good job otherwise things could have been a lot worse.”
