This is the moment a woman screams for help after being shot by a thug who robs her of her mobile phone.

The incident took place in the city of Lomas del Mirador, in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentine capital and was captured by CCTV cameras.

The victim, identified as Lucrecia Romero, 23, was robbed at the crossroad of the streets Palacios and Pedro Goyena when she was about to catch a bus.

In the video, a gunshot can be heard and the victim can be seen dropping to the ground as she tries to run away from the aggressor.

The thug then grabs her phone and runs away as the victim can be heard shouting “help, help” on the ground.

The victim was reportedly shot in her left leg and was helped by local residents who rushed to save her.

She was taken to the Santojanni where she underwent surgery. She remains hospitalised and reportedly suffered a broken tibia.

According to the victim’s family, it took a long time for an ambulance to arrive so the residents decided to take her to the hospital themselves.

The aggressor reportedly used a long gun in the attack and reportedly escaped in a waiting vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been reported.
