A woman has been accused of chopping off 80 percent of a man’s penis and his right testicle with a knife after the relative allegedly tried to rape her.

The 59-year-old woman, name not reported, is accused of hacking off her husband’s nephew’s genitals in the back garden of her home in the municipality of Prados in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais on 7th November.

The woman, who has since been arrested for bodily harm, said she was frequently harassed by the 41-year-old man and even claimed that he had raped her on other occasions, according to Catole News.

She said she had never told her husband or children about the abuse, as the man had allegedly threatened her.

The police were informed of the incident when the man was admitted to a health centre for his injuries and a nurse called them.

The man told officers that his aunt had mutilated his manhood and she was arrested at her home.

On the day of the incident, the woman said that her husband’s nephew came to her home, jumped her fence and grabbed her forcefully in the garden, where she had gone for a smoke.

She claimed he stripped naked and while he was distracted, she went into the house and got a knife.

When the woman returned, she allegedly sliced his erect penis with the blade, with the news site Portal Tucuma reporting that he lost 80 percent of his penis and his right testicle in the attack.

She has reportedly admitted to carrying out the act to the police and is currently under arrest as the investigation continues.
