This beautiful young woman has died after being shot in the head with a shotgun that went off while her boyfriend and his father were in the middle of a heated argument.

Gilda Estefania Klocker, 20, was shot in the head while her boyfriend and his father argued in their home in the city of Parana in the Argentinian province of Entre Rios on 9th May.

She was transferred to a nearby hospital where doctors carried out various operations to save her life, but she passed away on 11th May.

The news site Infobae said Gilda was living with her boyfriend Jonathan Dayer, 22, and her father-in-law Julio Dayer, 65, who both have previous convictions for murder.

The son and father got into a heated argument and Jonathan allegedly pulled out a shotgun and began threatening Julio.

According to Infobae, other family members in the house said that during the struggle the shotgun went off by accident and hit Gilda in the head.

She was transferred to the San Martin de Parana Hospital where doctors confirmed she was brain dead, and despite carrying out several operations, she died three days after the incident.

The authorities arrested Jonathan Dayer shortly after the shooting but Julio went on the run, only handing himself over to authorities yesterday (12th May).

Betiana, the victim’s sister, told Infobae: “We are devastated by what happened and all I want is justice.”

Betiana, age and surname not disclosed, added: “If anyone has information about what happened please come forward. Today it was my sister, but tomorrow it could be someone else.

“These people [the suspects] have already committed murder and will do it again if they aren’t locked up.”

Both suspects are being held in custody as the investigation continues.
