Hollywood star Will Smith has learned how to make authentic sushi with a Japanese YouTube star while visiting the country to promote his latest film ‘Gemini Man’.

The 50-year-old actor took time out of his busy promotional tour to sit with YouTube star ‘Bilingual Chika’ who boats over 1.5 million subscribers on the video-sharing platform.

In the YouTube episode, already viewed 2.4 million times, Smith has a cooking lesson with the pretty bilingual YouTuber.

The ‘Fresh Prince’ started off by learning how to make a rolled sushi known as a ‘makizushi’ using beef, avocado, cream cheese, egg, cucumber, salmon, okra and natto.

Chika gave the actor tips on how to prevent a ‘wasabi burn’ which involves breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth, but Smith was unable to master the trick and reportedly burned his tongue.

After Smith added soy sauce to the inside of the dish during preparation, Chika said in a caption across the screen: “I was going to tell him that you add soy sauce afterwards!”
