This is the bizarre moment a wild monkey hangs from the roof of a shop while urinating on tourists in China.

Footage shows the primate releasing a stream of pee onto laughing visitors at an elephant park in Yunnan province on January 29.

The monkey appears to have decided to relieve itself above a souvenir shop that was packed with tourists.

The urine shower was seen hitting an unsuspecting tourist, who quickly moved away before he could be further drenched.

Several visitors then crowded around the creature to record its behaviour, holding their smartphones up at a safe distance in order to capture the unexpected event.

Several online commentators noted that the funny incident where the monkey seemed to have an almost endless supply of urine occurred above a soft drinks dispenser with the words “Nongfu Spring”.

One said jokingly: “I don’t see why anyone is complaining, pringwater is supposed to have lots of minerals.”

And another added: “That is a brand of spring water I won’t forget in a hurry.”
