This is the video viewed by 5.5 million people where a young woman is overcome by terror as she falls over herself while trying to scramble away when she comes face to face with a huge snake at a zoo.

The incident was filmed at Singapore Zoo in the island city-state of the same name and later shared on Twitter by netizen ‘Angela Rodriguez’ where it has amassed a whopping 5.5 million views.

‘Angela Rodriguez’ accompanied the clip with the message: “My co-worker’s sister wasn’t ready man.”

According to reports, the unnamed woman volunteered to be part of the zoo’s ‘Rainforest Fights Back’ show despite apparently having an irrational fear of them, otherwise known as ophidiophobia.

During the show, participants are invited onto the stage area to hold a small snake. At that point, zookeepers appear behind them carrying a huge snake as a gag.

In the video footage, a female zookeeper is seen passing a small snake to two young women.

The woman wearing a hat in the middle appears to scream as she barely holds the reptile and leaves it to the other participant and the zookeeper.

However, a five-man team appears behind her carrying an enormous snake and when she turns and sees it, she falls to the ground screaming.

In her frantic attempt to flee from the huge reptile, she trips and rolls over and at one point she nearly ends up in the moat.

She is last seen running out of the stage area.

Reports did not mention which species the snakes belonged to.
