Viral: Crazed Avengers Fans Stampede To See Endgame

This is the viral moment hundreds of excited young Avengers fans stampede through a shopping centre in a bid to to be the first to see the Marvel movie’s latest instalment ‘Endgame’.

The incident was filmed at the Robinsons Place Butuan shopping centre in Butuan City in the southern Philippine province of Agusan del Norte and shared on Facebook by netizen ‘RM Enrico’.

One of the Facebook user’s clips has been viewed 1.3 million times while another has been seen by over 155,000 people.

In the footage, hundreds of young Marvel fans are seen scrambling up escalators and sprinting through the shopping centre to be among the first to see the first showing of the highly-anticipated ‘Avengers: Endgame’.

Hundreds of cinema goers rush to the upper floor to be among the first in the queue to see the Avengers do battle with the supervillain Thanos, played by US actor Josh Brolin.

The fourth instalment in the Avengers series, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth, premiered in Los Angeles on 22nd April and was released in the Philippines on the 24th.

According to ‘RM Enrico’, he filmed the scenes at around 10am when the shopping centre opened.

He was shopping in a clothes store when he heard the excitement and saw a security guard blow his whistle to allow the Avengers fans to stampede to the cinema.
He said: “They were all excited. No fights occurred. All of them had happy faces!”
