This is the moment an angry mum throws items at a female worker’s head while bouncing a baby on her hip because the employee pointed out that the infant was wrecking a display.

The incident was filmed in the Ayala Centre Cebu shopping centre in the city of Cebu in the central Philippine region of Central Visayas and the footage was shared on Facebook where it has gone viral with over 1.2 million views.

According to local media, 33-year-old Medelina Yamazaki was arrested by the police at her home in Cebu Business Park following the incident.

She is accused of throwing several items at store worker Jennifer Fabillar’s face in front of stunned shoppers.

The incident started when the worker told Yamazaki that her baby was damaging a product on display and the suspect reacted by throwing items at Fabillar, including a humidifier.

Reports said the suspect also accused Fabillar of touching her child, something which the shop worker denied.

Yamazaki allegedly screamed at the worker: “I will kill you!”

According to local media, Fabillar was left with a cut to one eye and bruising on her cheek following the incident.

In the footage, Yamazaki is seen accompanied by her Japanese husband during the row, but he did not do anything to prevent his wife from allegedly assaulting the worker.

After the couple left the shopping centre, Fabillar reported the incident to the authorities.

Reports said that Yamazaki insists she was only protecting her baby while Fabillar has the support of her employers who, as well as promising to pay her medical expenses, are helping her file a case against the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
