Vaccinated Brazilian Model Dies Of COVID Complications At Just 18

This vaccinated model has died from complications caused by COVID-19 at the age of just 18.

Valetina Boscardin, the daughter of well-known TV presenter, reporter and former model Marcia Boscardin, is reported to have died from complications caused by COVID-19 in the early hours of Sunday, 9th January.

Valetina, who came from the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, was signed with Ford Models Brasil, who also confirmed her untimely passing at 18 years of age.

Marcia Boscardin said goodbye to her daughter in her social media post, adding that she will love her forever and that “an angel has ascended to heaven”.

She wrote: “I’m in mourning. It is with great pain that I say goodbye to the love of my life.

“May God welcome you with open arms.”

According to the victim’s mother, the teen model was previously healthy and had been administered both doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.

Local media did not disclose which health facility Valentina was hospitalised in.

Her friends posted tributes on social media, saying that the young woman was diagnosed with thrombosis and pneumonia on 6th January after contracting COVID-19.

Family friend, journalist Felipeh Campos, said: “The daughter of beloved model and businesswoman Marcia Boscardin has died this weekend at the age of 18, a victim of a thrombosis after contracting coronavirus.

“Valentina was on the rise and ready to embark on an international career, it is so sad. She was immunised with both doses of Pfizer. Rest now, Valentina.”
